Corbin Bleu will star in the horror movie 'The Monkey's Paw.'

Corbin Bleu will star in the TV movie The Monkey’s Paw, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Adapted by Macon Blair from W.W. Jacob’s story, The Monkey’s Paw will air on Chiller, the cable network dedicated to horror programming, in 2013. Directed by Brett Simmons, the movie will co-star C.J. Thomason and Stephen Lang.

The Monkey’s Paw follows Jake Tilton (Thomason), who acquires a mystical "monkey's paw" talisman that grants its possessor three wishes. Jake finds his life turned upside down after his first two wishes result in his co-worker Tony Cobb (Lang) being resurrected from the dead. When Cobb pressures Jake into using the final wish to reunite Cobb with his son, his intimidation quickly escalates into relentless murder -- forcing Jake to outwit his psychotic friend and save his remaining loved ones. Bleu plays a character called Catfish.

Bleu made his Broadway debut as Usnavi in In The Heights and recently appeared as Jesus in the revival of Godspell. The actor and singer is best known for playing Chad Danforth in the High School Musical film series. He also gained attention for the Discovery Kids series Flight 29 Down. His most recent big screen credit was playing the lead in the film Free Style. Bleu has released two solo albums (Another Side and Speed of Light) and appeared on stage in Debbie Allen’s Brothers of the Knight.
