Jersey Boys has always been a favorite at the box office, and audiences are more than eager to catch the real Frankie Valli as he plays his Broadway concert engagement with the Four Seasons. Performing just three concerts during the week, Valli's show earned a strong $633,900 and played to 96% capacity. Another special engagement also witnessed packed houses as Lewis Black's stand-up show Running on Empty played to SRO crowds at 101.5% capacity. The Al Pacino-led revival of Glengarry Glen Ross also got off to a stellar start, earning $703,755 for its first four performances. And murderous mayhem is now in full swing at Studio 54 where The Mystery of Edwin Drood played its first week of performances.
