A slew of Broadway shows are getting patriotic this season by changing their performance schedules and going dark on Tuesday, November 6, in honor of the presidential election. Instead of the usual Tuesday performances, a handful of musicals and plays will be performing on Monday, November 5, at night (typically a dark day for most theaters).
