Kristin Chenoweth has set dates for several concerts in California, marking the first batch of concert performances for the Tony winner since suffering injuries while on set of The Good Wife this summer.
Chenoweth will play Costa Mesa's Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall on November 5, according to the Los Angeles Times, followed by shows in Sacramento on November 7 and Fresno on November 9.
While filming a guest spot on The Good Wife on July 11, Chenoweth was struck by a piece of lighting equipment and fell to the ground, hitting her head on the concrete floor in the process. Chenoweth was forced to wear a neck brace for two months during her recovery and now has a scar on her head. She returned to film scenes for the CBS series after her injury and made appearances on Anderson Live and Live with Kelly and Michael. She has also signed on as host of the American Country Awards.
Chenoweth had wrapped a successful 19 city tour in support of her most recent album, Some Lessons Learned, prior to her injuries.
