Jackie Hoffman is ready to get her Scrooge on for the second year in a row. The former Broadway.com video blogger will once again present her solo holiday comedy A Chanukah Charol this December. The limited engagement will run Friday and Saturday nights at off-Broadway's New World Stages from December 8 through 29, with a special Christmas Day performance as well.
Inspired by Patrick Stewart's one-man version of A Christmas Carol, Hoffman re-examines her life as she is visted by the Ghosts of Chanukah Past, Present and Future, as well as Molly Picon. This year's production will feature new material from Hoffman and co-writter Michael Schiralli, who also directs.
Hoffman has appeared on Broadway in Hairspray, The Addams Family and Xanadu. Her film and TV credits include 30 Rock, Raising Hope, Curb Your Enthusias, Strangers with Candy and her current recurring role as Justin Bartha's mother on The New Normal.
