Spider-Man, Turn off the Dark alternate Matthew James Thomas took his final swing and bow as the high-flying musical's eponymous hero on November 10. Thomas is leaving the Broadway spectacle to lead the cast of the American Repertory Theater’s upcoming revival of Pippin in Cambridge, MA. Thomas will play the title role alongside previously announced stars Andrea Martin as Berthe and Patina Miller as the Leading Player. Opening night for the Diane Paulus-directed production is set for January 3, with the engagement ending on January 20.
