The cast of Elf rang the first jingle bells of the holiday season on November 9 when the returning musical (based on the popular 2003 film) gave its first performance the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Jordan Gelber, who stars as the Christmas-obsessed, giddy title character, slapped on his green tights and elf uniform alongside co-stars Wayne Knight, Leslie Kritzer, Beth Leavel, Mark Jacoby, Mitchell Sink, Valerie Wright, Adam Heller and Michael Mandell to go walking in a theatrical winter wonderland. The holiday engagement marks the show's return to Broadway after its initial run in 2010. Have yourself a merry little time checking out the photos from the musical's latest Broadway bow, and don't forget to see Elf before its limited run ends January 6, 2013!
