Boardwalk Empire star Gretchen Mol, Darren Goldstein and Mark Blum are sending chills up the spines of off-Broadway audiences in The Good Mother, and on November 15, the cast celebrated their official opening night. In the premiere of Francine Volpe’s new play, Mol stars as Larissa, a damaged single mother who has difficulty paying the rent, heat and electricity on her Mount Vernon home. After the performance, director Scott Elliott joined Good Mother stars Mol, Goldstein, Blum, Alfredo Narciso and Eric Nelsen for celebratory photos at the Acorn Theatre.
