Russell Crowe Enlists Alan Doyle & Les Miserables Co-Star Samantha Barks for Joe's Pub Concert

Russell Crowe will perform at Joe's Pub on December 8.

Following in the footsteps of his Les Miserables co-star Anne Hathaway, Oscar-winning Aussie actor Russell Crowe will make his Joe’s Pub debut in an intimate one-night-only concert on December 8. Crowe will perform two concerts that evening at the downtown venue.

Crowe will team with songwriter Alan Doyle for The Indoor Garden Party, a show the duo performed at New York’s Gramercy Theatre on October 13. Joining Crowe and Doyle are Scott Grimes (Nine), Kevin Durand (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer), Size 2 Shoes and Les Miserables’ forthcoming Eponine, Samantha Barks—all of whom also appeared in the October concert.

Crowe, Doyle, Grimes and Durand all appeared in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood in 2010, and have frequently performed together with their Indoor Garden Party concerts. Barks and Crowe will both appear in Les Miserables, which hits movie theaters this Christmas day.
