Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway goes for Oscar gold in Les Misérables, opening on Christmas Day.

For someone who was so nervous to chop off her long locks, Anne Hathaway is really owning her shorter ‘do. The Oscar nominee, who cut her hair to play the tragic Fantine in Tom Hooper’s film adaptation of Les Misérables, told CNN she just needed time to adjust. Hathaway, who was on the phone with her husband, actor Adam Shulman, during the haircut, waited half an hour before mustering up the courage to look in a mirror. Her first reaction? She thought she looked like her brother! Take a look at what Hathaway had to say below, and be sure to catch her sing "I Dreamed a Dream" when the musical hits theaters on December 25.
