Broadway vets Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman drew a nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media for "Let Me Be Your Star," sung by Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty on NBC's Smash. The Rock of Ages film soundtrack also earned a nod for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
Grammys are presented in a whopping 81 categories.
