The stars of Les Misérables are in the midst of a world tour to launch the hotly awaited musical, due in theaters on Christmas Day. On December 10, they arrived at New York’s Ziegfeld Theatre, led by Hugh Jackman (Jean Valjean), Anne Hathaway (Fantine) and Russell Crowe (Javert). The scene was as festive as the movie itself is dark, with the cast gathering for photos among an audience that included lots of Broadway vets.
