Justin Matthew Sargent
The 'Rock of Ages' star reveals his obsessions with 'Life of Pi,' Freddie Mercury and more.

Theater stars know what’s hot in entertainment, fashion and pop culture, so decided it was high time to tap in to the after-hours obsessions of our favorite stage actors. Justin Matthew Sargent is currently bringing down the house in Broadway's Rock of Ages as Drew, a busboy at the Bourbon Room who dreams of becoming a rock star. When he's not rocking out to Twisted Sister at the Helen Hayes Theatre, Sargent can be found watching Game of Thrones, listening to rock musicals and reading Life of Pi. Read on below for this talented star's obsessions!

TV SHOW: Breaking Bad
“Best show on TV, period. Also American Horror Story, Walking Dead, Game of know, the light and fluffy stuff.”

“I'm a sucker for the really geeky stuff like Star Wars (original trilogy!), Harry Potter, Batman and Lord of the Rings. No shame here!”

“I'm a big fan of rock musicals...Surprised? I love Tommy, Jesus Christ Superstar (the latest adaptation was great!). I also think Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is a blast.”

SINGER: Freddie Mercury
“He was a GOD. His voice was just pure passion and emotion. I also love Steven Tyler—listening to Aerosmith as a kid is how I learned to wail!"

BOOK: Life of Pi by Yann Martel
“I was blown away by how true the film is to the book."

ATHLETE: Derek Jeter
“And enough about his new gut, already—the dude deserves a cookie! Also, Jeremy Woodard...MVP of the Broadway Softball League!"

CELEBRITY: Brian Cranston
“I could watch that man watch paint dry."

"...In all of its debauchery and sin."

APP: I Heart Radio
“It keeps me in touch with all my favorite radio stations from home."

BEAUTY PRODUCT: Old-Fashioned Shaving Kits
“They're pretty bad-ass."
