Smash Star Megan Hilty's Solo Album It Happens All the Time Set for Spring Release
Megan Hilty
Megan Hilty will release her debut solo album in mid-March.

Broadway favorite and Smash sweetheart Megan Hilty took to Twitter on January 11 to reveal details about her upcoming solo album.

“Just confirmed that my album title will be It Happens All The Time and will ‘drop’ sometime mid-March,” Hilty tweeted. When a fan asked whether the album will boast original songs or covers, Hilty promised that it would feature “half and half.”

It Happens All The Time will be Hilty’s first solo album, although her soaring vocals have been featured on the cast recordings of 9 to 5 and the Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, as well as soundtracks from her NBC musical drama Smash.

Check out a clip of Hilty’s angelic voice from a Broadway.com rehearsal peek at Gentlemen Prefer Blondes below!
