'Bare' will close on February 3 at off-Broadway's New World Stages.

The revamped revival of Bare will play its final performance on February 3 at off-Broadway’s New World Stages. Directed by Stafford Arima, Bare opened on December 9, 2012. The production will have played 21 previews and 65 regular performances at the time of closing. A cast album for the off-Broadway production is currently in the works, as well as plans for future revivals in Korea, Japan, Brazil and Los Angeles.

Bare features music by Damon Intrabartolo, a book and lyrics by Jon Hartmere, additional songs by Hartmere and Lynne Shankel and choreography by Travis Wall. The reimagined musical tells the story of three students who get caught in a forbidden love triangle at a strict Catholic boarding school. As their last year of high school comes to an end, the teens try to navigate the complicated transition from adolescence to adulthood while grappling with sexuality and religion.

The musical stars Taylor Trensch as Peter, Jason Hite as Jason, Elizabeth Judd as Ivy, Gerard Canonico as Matt, Missi Pyle as Sister Joan, Jerold E. Megan Lewis and Nick Laughlin serve as swings.

Bare includes set design by Donyale Werle, costume design by Tristan Raines, lighting design by Howell Binkley and sound design by Keith Caggiano.
