Lea Salonga Joins Judging Panel of The Voice in the Philippines
Lea Salonga
Lea Salonga will appear as a judge on the Filipino version of 'The Voice'.

Quick, where do we sign up for Filipino TV channels!? Broadway star Lea Salonga has joined the four-person judging panel of The Voice of the Philippines, the Filipino counterpart of the massively successful The Voice franchise.

Salonga confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, “It's official: I am a coach on THE VOICE OF THE PHILIPPINES! I wonder who coach #4 will be.”

The Tony winner will be joined by pop artist Sarah Geronimo, rocker Bamboo Manalac and a yet to be announced fourth coach, all of whom will mentor a group of contestants hoping to become the nation’s next music superstar.

Salonga most recently headlined the starry concert performance of Ragtime at Lincoln Center, as well as the American Songbook series. The Miss Saigon Tony winner will also lead the 4 Stars: One World of Broadway Musicals concert series in Tokyo and Osaka this summer.

So will Salonga be more a Christina Aguilera or an Adam Levine? Or, dare we say, a Cee-Lo? (Cee-Lea?) Decide for yourself and watch Salonga's big announcement below!
