Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Liz Flahive’s powerful dramedy The Madrid officially opened at off-Broadway’s New York City Center – Stage I on February 26. Directed by Leigh Silverman, the world premiere stars Emmy winner and Tony nominee Edie Falco and Tony nominee John Ellison Conlee, as well Phoebe Strole, Heidi Schreck, Christopher Evan Welch, Frances Sternhagen and Seth Clayton. The play drew a starry crowd for its opening night, including Steven Pasquale, Bobby Cannavale and Judith Light.
