Emmy winner Holland Taylor (The Practice, Two and a Half Men) wrote and stars in Broadway’s Ann, a solo piece celebrating the life of the late Texas governor Ann Richards. Taylor’s play has toured Texas, Chicago and D.C., and on March 7, her labor of love officially bowed on the Great White Way. Plenty of film, stage and TV stars flooded the Vivian Beaumont Theatre in support of Taylor’s opening night, including Oscar winner Anne Hathway, Tony winner Elaine Stritch, Emmy winner Judith Light and famed author/activist Gloria Steinem. After the curtain came down, the guests joined Taylor for a swanky soiree at the Plaza.
