Young Jean Lee’s 'We’re Gonna Die' returns to LCT August 5-17.

Lincoln Center Theater welcomes back Young Jean Lee’s Obie-winning musical We’re Gonna Die to the Claire Tow Theater for an encore engagement. Directed by Paul Lazar and written and performed by Lee, We’re Gonna Die runs as part of the LCT3 programming from August 5 through 17.

In We’re Gonna Die, Young Jean Lee takes the stage with her band Future Wife (composed of Mike Hanf, Andrew Hoepfner, Nick Jenkins and Ben Kupstas) in a life-affirming show about the thing everyone has in common: death.

Featuring music by Future Wife and choreography by Faye Driscoll, We’re Gonna Die first premiered at Joe’s Pub in 2011. The musical then performed at the Claire Tow in for four performances in September 2012. We’re Gonna Die features costumes by Roxana Ramseur, lighting by Tyler Micoleau and sound by Jamie McElhinney.
