Leslie Kritzer brings 'Beautiful Disaster' back to Joe's Pub for four performances.

Leslie Kritzer is taking her acclaimed show Beautiful Disaster back to Joe’s Pub. The comic cabaret, co-created by Randy Blair and music directed by Vadim Feichtner, features music from Madonna, Katy Perry, Stephen Sondheim and more. The show runs at Joe’s Pub for four nights beginning April 22 and continuing on April 29, May 4 and May 13.

Beautiful Disaster is set in 1995 and tells the story of high school senior Leslie as she deals with the fallout from not landing the lead role in her school’s musical and her parents’ dramatic divorce. Playing 30 different characters, Kritzer explores what happens when rebellion meets reality in a comic tour de force.

Kritzer is known for her Broadway performances in Elf the Musical, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, A Catered Affair and Sondheim on Sondheim. Her additional credits include the nightclub act revival/parody Leslie Kritzer Is Patti LuPone at Les Mouches and Fanny Brice in the Paper Mill Playhouse’s Funny Girl.
