Broadway vet (and former beau to Glee’s Lea Michele) Theo Stockman has joined the indie film adaptation of Stephen King’s A Good Marriage, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Stockman will play the successful adult son of Joan Allen and Anthony LaPaglia.
Directed by Peter Askin and adapted for the screen by King, A Good Marriage follows Darcy (Allen) and Bob (LaPaglia), a couple that lived happily for 27 years until Darcy accidently discovered Bob’s double life as a serial killer. Now Darcy must decide how to save herself and others by destroying Bob before it’s too late.
Stockman was a standout in the Broadway productions of Hair and American Idiot. He appeared off-Broadway in An Early History of Fire and regionally in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Witching Hour, The Bacchae and The Laramie Project. His screen credits include Blue Bloods, Inside Amy Schumer, Nurse Jackie, Cupid and 30 Rock.
