Last week, The Book of Mormon bumped ahead of the competition in grosses. This week, The Lion King pounced its way back to the top of the pack. Of course, the Mormon boys are still packing the houses past 100% capacity, followed closely behind by the drag queens at Kinky Boots, those flying monkeys over at Wicked and the R&B kings and queens at Motown The Musical. It was a healthy week for Broadway all around!
