Davaluri caught a matinee of Horton Foote’s emotional drama The Trip to Bountiful on September 18, and headliner Vanessa Williams, the first African-American woman to be crowned Miss America, was thrilled to meet a fellow former Miss New York. Williams also had another special guest—her friend and former Kiss of the Spider Woman co-star, Darius de Haas.
