Oscar-winning writer/directors Joel and Ethan Coen's latest film, Inside Llewyn Davis, doesn't open in theaters until December 20, but the film (which co-stars Kinky Boots headliner Stark Sands) about a young singer who navigates Greenwich Village's folk music scene in 1961 did help kick off the New York Film Festival on September 27.
