Glee may be ending, but triple threat Matthew Morrison won't be going anywhere anytime soon. The Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated star is adding another string to his bow, releasing his first-ever holiday collection EP, A Classic Christmas on November 19.
Morrison will provide his own take on Christmas standards including “It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”, “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Let It Snow." The record has been produced by Phil Ramone, the late legendary producer who was also behind Morrison's collection of Broadway songs, Where It All Began. The EP will be released on Adam Levine’s 222 Records.
Prefer to catch the Glee star live? Morrison will be performing on November 29 and 30 with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Fans can also see a special performance by Morrison on PBS beginning November 30, when the network will air a live concert recorded at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford, Connecticut.
Morrison was Tony-nominated for The Light In The Piazza. His other Broadway credits include Footloose, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hairspray and South Pacific.
