Seth Rudetsky to Host 25th Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition

Broadway's hard-working ensemble members will take the stage at the 25th annual Gypsy of the Year Competition, to be held on December 9 and 10 at the Minskoff Theatre. Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the event will be hosted by Seth Rudetsky, co-author and star of the new musical Disaster!

At the culmination of six weeks of fundraising by Broadway, off-Broadway and national touring companies, Gypsy of the Year spotlights some of the Great White Way’s most talented musical performers, who present original skits, songs and dances. Awards are given for the best presentations and the companies that raise the most money. Celebrity judges have not yet been announced.

Over the past 24 years, Gypsy of the Year has raised more than $52.9 million for BC/EFA.
