Carol Lawrence and the Cast of Handle with Care Deliver on Opening Night

It’s been how long since we’ve seen the famed Tony-nominated Carol Lawrence on stage? Way too long! Well, on December 15, West Side Story’s original Maria celebrated the opening night of her new off-Broadway show Handle with Care. The show stars Lawrence as an overbearing grandma who brings her Israeli granddaughter, who has little command of English, to the US, where the younger woman meets a man who is romance-impaired. After the cast was through learning the language of love on stage, they celebrated their opening night.
