It’s Aaron Tveit’s way, or the highway. The Times Herald-Record reports that the Broadway and Graceland hottie is having a street renamed after him in his hometown of Middletown, New York. The name? Aaron Tveit Way. Of course it is.

Singular Sensation Richard Attenborough Dead at 90
British acting and directing great Richard Attenborough died on August 24. He was 90. Among his multiple credits, which included starring roles in The Great Escape and Jurassic Park and a best director Oscar for Gandhi, was A Chorus Line. Attenborough helmed the 1985 film adaptation of the classic tuner, which earned him a Golden Globe nod. He was a true singular sensation.

Matt Bomer Gets His Freak On
Matt Bomer, who recently starred in the Ryan Murphy-helmed HBO adaptation of The Normal Heart, is to star in an episode of another Murphy brainchild, American Horror Story. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bomer will play a "warped” character in the fourth season, Freak Show. He joins Great White Way vets Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Frances Conroy, Denis O’Hare, Sarah Paulson and Patti LaBelle. Now we just need Bomer on Broadway.

Lost: The Musical to Receive World Premiere
Lost without the TV series Lost? We have found the answer. The world premiere of An Unauthorized Parody! Lost the Musical: We Have to Go Back will have a limited engagement September 18 through October 26 at The Lillian Theatre in Hollywood. Written by Steven Christopher Parker and Steven Brandon, and directed by Brandon, the production will officially open on September 22. Sensitive to the fact that many fans found the series’ ending lacking, Lost the Musical will feature three alternate endings, which the audience will get to pick from. At last, you can see the finale you always dreamed of.

Wicked Stars Past and Present Lead Concert for Cancer
Wicked stars past and present Betsy Werbel, Jenni Barber, Kelli Barrett, Justin Guarini, Adinah Alexander, Christine Dwyer and Mary Testa, along with Great White Way favorites including Tamika Lawrence, Jarrod Spector, Richard H. Blake, Marcus Paul James, Lisa Howard and Matt Bogart, will join Broadway Inspirational Voices at a concert on September 8. Directed by Joe Ricci, the event will take place at Le Poisson Rouge and all proceeds will go to cancer research through the Brian Werbel Memorial Fund. "After losing my brother in 2007, I realized that life is too short and you have to make every day truly count," said Betsy Werbel. "I get to live my dream every night on Broadway. My brother had a dream to find a cure for cancer.” Tickets can be purchased here.
