Zachary Quinto May Get Naked for Girls
There’s every chance we’ll get to see Zachary Quinto nude in the near future. When asked if the Broadway alum would be stripping off during his previously reported guest stint on Girls, Lena Dunham told E! Gillian Anderson Demonstrates That the Show Must Go On
Gillian Anderson, currently appearing in A Streetcar Named Desire in London, proved herself quite the showbiz trouper on August 26. The X-Files star was injured by a flying plate during a particularly dramatic scene in the acclaimed revival. According to the Evening Standard, despite suffering a nasty cut to her shin, the actress went on with the show, garnering a whole-hearted standing ovation from those typically more reserved Brits.

Friends alum David Schwimmer, currently represented off-Broadway with his direction of Sex with Strangers, will helm a developmental reading of Stephen Belber’s Shut Up When You Talk to Me. The workshop will take place as part of the 2014 PlayLabs reading series from MCC Theater, on September 15 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Rumor had it that they were in talks to build a 1,500 seat Great White Way theater from the ground up between West 45th and 46th Street, between the Imperial Theatre and Frankie & Johnnie’s Steakhouse. However, now Deadline reports that a luxury apartment tower is planned for the site by Extell Corp. Of course, that doesn’t stop a theater being built at the bottom of it…
