The angels of music are switching things up on the Great White Way! Mary Michael Patterson will succeed Broadway.com Audience Choice award winner Sierra Boggess as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. Boggess will play her final performance on September 6. New cast member Kaley Ann Voorhees will replace Patterson as the Christine alternate, while Norm Lewis will continue in the role of the Phantom through January 31.

That's not all! Patterson is set to remain with the production through December 13. From December 15, Julia Udine, the current star of the Phantom National Tour, will take over from Patterson. And Kara Klein, who went on maternity leave last December, will return to the role of Meg Giry beginning September 22, succeeding Deanna Doyle.

Continuing in the longest-running show on Broadway are current co-stars Jeremy Hays as Raoul, Laird Mackintosh as Monsieur André, Tim Jerome as Monsieur Firmin, Michele McConnell as Carlotta, Ellen Harvey as Madame Giry and Christian Šebek as Piangi.
