Live from midtown…it’s The 54 Below Show! The Broadway supper club has been the go-to hostpot for memorable nights of great music and dining. This month, 54 Below will introduce a new live variety show, filled with laughs, tunes and plenty of familiar faces. The 54 Below Show kicks off on October 17 with inaugural host Marc Shaiman.
"I've gone through my phone book from legendary performers to my mother,” Shaiman teases. “Who knows who will show up, but I assure you it will be entertaining."
Shaiman, along with collaborator and co-lyricist Scott Wittman, took home Tony Awards in 2003 for the score of Hairspray. Their additional composing credits include Catch Me If You Can, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me and Smash.
