A family spokesperson has confirmed that the body of missing Native American actress Misty Upham has been found. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she was discovered on October 16 in a ravine close to the White River, Seattle. The August: Osage County star's purse was nearby.
The 32-year-old went missing on October 6 and was apparently suffering from bipolar disorder. Her father, Charles Upham, identified her body to the authorities.
Upham played the housekeeper Johanna in the film adaptation of August: Osage County alongside Meryl Streep, who said: "So so sad to hear this news—all our thoughts are with her family and with her beautiful spirit."
Upham's additional screen credits included Frozen River and Django Unchained.
