Here's a quick roundup of stories you may have missed today and over the holiday weekend.
Josh Gad Talks Frozen on Broadway
Stage and screen fave Josh Gad recently stopped by Bravo's Watch What Happens: Live and was asked by host Andy Cohen if he'd reprise his performance as lovable snowman Olaf in Frozen when it arrives on Broadway. Although the Mormon Tony nominee's answer is not much different from the one he gave before, check it out below, if only for the vision of white jumpsuits it inspires. Incidentally, Gad's latest screen project, The Wedding Ringer, grossed $21 million in the U.S. this weekend, the best ever box office for an R-rated comedy opening in January, not accounting for inflation.
Nina Arianda Reunites With Hugh Dancy in Hannibal
Tony winner Nina Arianda, who starred opposite Hugh Dancy in Venus in Fur on Broadway, will now play his wife in Hannibal. According to TVLine, Arianda has been tapped to play Molly, Will’s new bride, in the third season of the NBC thriller. Spooky!
Cuddle Up With Billy Porter & Norm Lewis
This spring you’ll be able to spend a quiet night in with Tony winner Billy Porter and current Phantom headliner Norm Lewis—not to mention six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald. They'll all be appearing on PBS in the 40th Anniversary Season of Live from Lincoln Center, with a show celebrating Porter on April 3 and Lewis on April 10. McDonald will host both.
