Seinfeld's Wayne Knight is coming to Sweet Charity. He will play the role of Herman from September 20 through October 16.

Knight previously appeared on Broadway in the plays Gemini, Mastergate and Art. He is best known as Jerry's vengeful neighbor Newman on Seinfeld. Knight has also been featured in numerous other television series, including Third Rock From the Sun, in which he played Officer Don Orville. His film credits include Jurassic Park, JFK, Basic Instinct, To Die For, Dirty Dancing, Tarzan and Toy Story 2.

Rob Bartlett, who currently plays Herman, is leaving the company to appear in this fall's Broadway revival of The Odd Couple. Bartlett will play his final performance in Charity on Sunday, September 18.

In addition to Barlett, Sweet Charity currently stars Christina Applegate, Denis O'Hare, Janine LaManna, Kyra Da Costa and Paul Schoeffler.
