My Girl's Anna Chlumsky will star in Lanford Wilson's Balm in Gilead at the American Theatre of Actors. The show will run there from October 27 through November 20.

Chlumsky is best known for starring the movies My Girl and My Girl 2. Her other film credits include Uncle Buck, Trading Mom and Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain. Her New York stage credits include Measure for Measure and, recently, Half Life, which was part of the New York Fringe Festival this summer.

Taking place on New York's upper Broadway, Balm in Gilead peeks into the lives and conversations of the drifters, junkies, prostitutes and hustlers who patronize an all-night coffee shop.

This production of Balm in Gilead, presented by the Barefoot Theatre Company, will also feature Victoria Malvagno who appeared in the acclaimed documentary film Mad Hot Ballroom, Diego Ajuz, Jeremy Brena, Louis Reyes Cardenas, Sabrina C. Cataudella, John Gazzale, Trey Gibbons, Jerzy Gwiazdowski, Elizabeth June, Jeff Keilhotz, David Lamberton, Luke Leonard, Michael LoPorto, Ruben Luque, Victoria Malvagano, Diane Mashburn, Joe B. McCarthy, Chiara Montalto, Roderick Nash, Luca Pierucci, Francisco Solorzano, Jennie West and Christopher Whalen. Eric Nightengale directs.

The American Theatre of Actors is currently home to the musical Slut, which is scheduled to end its limited engagement on November 13.
