About the Show

Drew Sarich, who has been playing the role of Armand in Lestat since the departure of original star Jack Noseworthy on December 22, will take over the part permanently. Lestat opens in its pre-Broadway engagement at San Francisco's Curran Theatre on Sunday, January 8.

Sarich will make his Broadway debut in Lestat when it starts performances at the Palace Theatre on March 11. He appeared on the New York stage in off-Broadway's Tony n' Tina's Wedding and subsequently toured as a back-up singer for Liza Minnelli. He has recently made his home in Vienna, where he has played Berger in Hair, Cousin Kevin in Tommy and Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch and also fronts his own rock band.

Lestat started performances in San Francisco on Saturday, December 17 and will continue through January 29.
