Cass Morgan, who has been on medical leave from Ring of Fire, will return full-time to the Broadway musical beginning on March 7. Morgan played several performances last week.

Morgan appeared in Ring of Fire during its Buffalo world premiere. However, in the period between the end of that run on October 9 and the beginning of the show's February 8 Broadway start, she underwent surgery for an unspecified condition. Recuperation was needed and therefore Morgan did not begin performances at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre with the rest of the cast. During her absence, understudy Melanie Vaughan went on in her place.

Ring of Fire, which utilizes the song catalog of Johnny Cash, is scheduled to officially open on the Great White Way on March 12.
