Christopher McDonald to Succeed Usher as Chicago's Billy Flynn

Christopher McDonald will return to the Broadway company of Chicago as Billy Flynn on October 15, playing the role through November 19. He will replace one pop star and be replaced by another: Usher's last day in the role is October 14, and Huey Lewis will rejoin the Broadway company on November 20.

McDonald made his Broadway debut last summer playing Chicago's smooth-talking lawyer. His numerous TV and film credits include Fat Actress, Cracking Up, Grind, Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams, Speakeasy, The Man Who Wasn't There, The Theory of the Leisure Class, The Perfect Storm, Grease 2, Dutch, Thelma & Louise, Quiz Show and Happy Gilmore.
