About the Show

Full casting has been announced for the Broadway production of Peter Morgan's Frost/Nixon, starring Frank Langella as President Richard Nixon and Michael Sheen as Sir David Frost. Frost/Nixon, which has received three 2007 Olivier Award nominations including Best New Play, begins performances on Broadway on March 31 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre and opens on April 22 for a 20-week limited engagement. The director is Michael Grandage.

In addition to Langella and Sheen, the cast will feature Remy Auberjonois John Birt; Shira Gregory Evonne Goolagong; Corey Johnson Jack Brennan; Stephen Kunken Jim Reston; Stephen Rowe Swifty Lazar/Mike Wallace; Triney Sandoval Manolo Sanchez; Armand Schultz Bob Zelnick; Sonya Walger Caroline Cushing.

Frost/Nixon recently transferred to London's West End following a sold-out run at the Donmar Warehouse. Prior to coming to Broadway, the production is playing at the Gielgud Theatre through February 3. Langella and Sheen have also each received Best Actor Olivier Award nominations for their roles in Frost/Nixon.

Frost/Nixon tackles the question: How did David Frost, a famous British talk-show host with a playboy reputation, elicit the apology that the rest of the world was waiting to hear from former President Richard Nixon? The fast-paced new play shows the determination, conviction and cunning of two men as they square off in one of the most monumental political interviews of all time.

Designs for Frost/Nixon are by Christopher Oram, with lighting by Neil Austin, and the music & sound score by Adam Cork. Video design is by Jon Driscoll. Frost/Nixon will be produced on Broadway by Matthew Byam Shaw, Arielle Tepper Madover, Robert Fox and Act Productions.
