The cast includes Maria Dizzia Eurydice, Gian-Murray Gianino Loud Stone, Carla Harting Little Stone, Ramiz Monsef Big Stone, Joseph Parks Orpheus, Charles Shaw Robinson Father and Mark Zeisler Nasty/Interesting Man. All appeared in earlier productions of the play at Berkeley Repertory Theater 2004 and/or Yale Repertory Theater 2006, both directed by Waters. The play premiered at Madison Repertory Theatre in 2003.
Ruhl is the author of The Clean House, which was produced at Lincoln Center Theater earlier this season; Passion Play, a Cycle; Dead Man's Cell Phone; Melancholy Play; Orlando; and Late: A Cowboy Song. She recently was awarded a MacArthur "genius" fellowship.
Eurydice has set design by Scott Bradley, costume design by Meg Neville, lighting design by Russell Champa and sound design by Bray Poor.
