About the Show

Frank Langella and Michael Sheen will repeat their acclaimed performances as Richard Nixon and David Frost, respectively, in the film version of the Broadway play Frost/Nixon. According to Variety, the duo will start shooting the film under the direction of Oscar winner Ron Howard on August 27.

Frost/Nixon tackles the question: How did David Frost, a famous British talk-show host with a playboy reputation, elicit the apology that the rest of the world was waiting to hear from former President Richard Nixon? The fast-paced play shows the determination, conviction and cunning of two men as they square off in one of the most monumental political interviews of all time.

Playwright Peter Morgan, who wrote the screenplays for The Last King of Scotland and The Queen, will adapt his play for the big screen.

Frost/Nixon is scheduled to end its limited run at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre on August 13.
