About the Show

The Tony Award-nominated Broadway revival of Eric Bogosian's 1987 off-Broadway hit Talk Radio is set to close on June 24 after playing 150 performances at the Longacre Theater. The current production, starring Liev Schreiber, opened on March 11, earning Schreiber a Tony Award nomination and the 2007 Drama League Distinguished Performance Award for his performance as Barry Champlain.

Talk Radio was thrust into the political spotlight when CBS fired Don Imus earlier this year. The ensuing series of post-show talkbacks with famous talk radio personalities ranging from Al Sharpton to Curtis Sliwa offered theatergoers the chance to make direct connections between the stage and the contemporary political landscape.

The Broadway production of Talk Radio is directed by Robert Falls, with a cast that includes Stephanie March, Peter Hermann, Michael Laurence, Sebastian Stan, Christine Pedi, Barbara Rosenblat, Adam Sietz, Marc Thompson, Kit Williamson and Cornell Womack.
