The Fantasticks opened on August 23, 2006, directed by the show's lyricist and book writer Tom Jones, who also appears as Henry under the pseudonym Thomas Bruce. The beloved musical love story features music by Harvey Schmidt. The current cast includes Nick Spangler as Matt, Julie Craig as Luisa, Ivan Hernandez as El Gallo, John Deyle as Hucklebee, Jordan Nichols as the Mute, Robert R.
