Cynthia Nixon & Josh Stamberg in Distracted
Roundabout Theater Company has announced a second one-week extension of its New York premiere production of Lisa Loomer's Distracted, starring Tony Award winner Cynthia Nixon. The play opened on March 4 and has been extended to May 17 at the Laura Pels Theatre. The off-Broadway production of Distracted is directed by Mark Brokaw.
Distracted is a fast-paced and disarmingly funny look at parenting in the age of the Internet and Ritalin. In this New York premiere, a contemporary American mom Nixon reaches out to teachers, psychotherapists, and neighbors to figure out if Attention Deficit Disorder is the root of her son’s problems.
In addition to Nixon, the cast of Distracted includes Peter Benson, Shana Dowdeswell, Lisa Emery, Natalie Gold, Matthew Gumley, Mimi Lieber, Aleta Mitchell and Broadway.com Josh Stamberg.
