For those of you who missed A Tale of Two Cities on Broadway last year, fear not: Michael York will narrate A Tale of Two Cities in Concert , the original Broadway musical adaptation of the classic Charles Dickens novel, in a staged performance to be broadcast on various PBS stations this Thanksgiving week and into December (check local listings for airtimes). Now, Broadway.com has exclusive clips from the upcoming concert event. The televised concert, filmed this summer at Theater Royal Brighton in London, also includes a new song, "Never Say Goodbye," written by composer Frank Wildhorn and Two Cities composer and librettist, Jill Santoriello. A Tale of Two Cities In Concert features members of the original Broadway cast, including James Barbour (as Sydney Carton), Natalie Toro (Madame Defarge), Brandi Burkhardt (Lucie Manette) and Kevin Earley (Ernest DeFarge). Other veteran Broadway performers featured are J. Mark McVey (Dr. Alexandre Manette) and Ed Dixon (John Barsad). The international cast members include British actress Rosemary Leach (Miss Pross), Simon Thomas (Charles Darnay) and Olivier Award winner Paul Baker (Marquis St. Evremonde).
