Cumming Attractions: Tony Winner Alan Cumming Rocks His CD Signing Event

Tony Award winner Alan Cumming has something to celebrate: the release of his fab solo CD I Bought a Blue Car Today on the new Yellow Sound Label. Based on his acclaimed one-man show, the record is a happy mix of ballads, theater songs and a speedy take on the Sinatra classic “That’s Life.” On September 23, everybody’s favorite Scotsman-turned-U.S. citizen gave fans an extended preview of the new disc at a mini-concert and signing event at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center.
