Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline Shine at Benefit for The Acting Company

Celebrated actors Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline performed selections from Shakespeare in an event entitled The Lover and the Poet that benefited The Acting Company. The pair are longtime collaborators (on screen in Sophie’s Choice and on stage in The Seagull  and Mother Courage and Her Children) and friends. The benefit, which took place at Florence Gould Hall on November 2, will help The Acting Company continue its mission to reach audience members in under-served and disadvantaged communities where no other theater is available. Many illustrious performers, including Kline, began their careers on tour with the company.
