Ben Fankhauser makes his Broadway debut as newsboy Davey in the 2012 Disney musical Newsies, a role he originated in the 2011 Paper Mill Playhouse production. Before joining Newsies, he played the sensitive gay teen Ernst in the first national tour of the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening.
