Born in New York City before moving with his family to Cumming, GA, Billy Magnussen graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts and made his Broadway debut in The Ritz. Best known for his role as Casey on the CBS soap As The World Turns, he received a 2013 Tony nomination as title boy-toy Spike in Christopher Durang's Vanya & Sonia and Masha & Spike.
