Before making her Broadway splash taking over the role of Glinda in Wicked, Schwartz made her Broadway debut as Agnes in Gypsy, starring Bernadette Peters, and went on to play the popular blonde witch on Wicked’s first national tour. Other credits include Penny Pingleton in Hairspray in Las Vegas and on tour, and histrionic drama queen Sharpay in the national tour of High School Musical.
